Statistical Evidence for Off‐Equatorial Minimum‐B‐Pocket as a Source Region of Electron Cyclotron Harmonic Waves in the Dayside Outer Magnetosphere

The off-equatorial minimum-B-pocket (OEMBP) at high latitudes in the dayside outer magnetosphere is expected as another source region of electrostatic electron cyclotron harmonic (ECH) waves, addition to magnetic equator. However, its crucial role excitation ECH waves has never been directly investigated due spatiotemporal-varying and difficulty be located.
